Tom Morello unites with K.Flay for new "Atlas Underground" song, "Lucky One"

ABC/Randy HolmesTom Morello has unleashed another new song from his upcoming solo album, The Atlas Underground. The latest track is called "Lucky One," and features "Blood in the Cut" artist K.Flay. It's available now for digital download.

"I heard...'Blood in the Cut' on the radio taking the kids to school, and me and my kids were headbanging furiously," the Rage Against the Machine guitarist says. "I pulled the car over, wrote it down on my phone...and then told my people, 'Find me a K.Flay!'"

"Lucky One" follows the previously released Atlas Underground songs "Battle Sirens," "Rabbit's Revenge" and "We Don't Need You."

The whole album, which also features guest spots from Portugal, the Man, Marcus Mumford of Mumford & Sons and Rise Against's Tim McIlrath, will arrive on October 12.

If you want to hear The Atlas Underground before then, Morello is launching a series of U.S. listening events beginning October 1 in New York City.
