Panic! on the big screen? Brendon Urie talking to "movie directors" about future projects

ABC/Fred LeeAfter making his Broadway debut in Kinky Boots in 2017, Panic! at the Disco frontman Brendon Urie is looking towards putting together his own musical, either for the stage or the big screen.

"I've been talking to a couple of movie directors about film music ideas and about doing musical theater, Broadway maybe," Urie tells U.K. tabloid The Sun.

"The ideal would be to write music for an idea somebody else has come up with," he adds.

If Urie were to come up with an idea, though, he thinks his own life could make for entertaining musical.

"I talked about doing my origin story, growing up in Vegas," he says. "So we will see what happens."

Before any of that happens, you can catch Urie on tour behind the new Panic! album Pray for the Wicked, which launches Thursday night in Buffalo.
