Old Man Winter postpones Kacey Musgraves' concert in the Windy City

ABC/Image Group LA Old Man Winter is interfering with Kacey Musgraves’ Oh What a World Tour.

Kacey announced that her Thursday concert show in Chicago has been cancelled, due to the plunging temperatures that have turned the city into a freezer.  Other performances, such as the Chicago production of Hamilton, have also been canceled.

“I’m SO sorry,” she tweeted. “Safety is absolutely the most important. Love y’all. Hope you can come party with me March 25. STAY WARM!”

Later, she reminded her Twitter followers that her concerts in Madison, Wisconsin on Friday and St. Paul, Minnesota on Saturday are still on.

“… Please keep all wigs warm and ready for action,” she quipped, attaching a GIF of her winking while dressed in a newsboy outfit.

Meanwhile, Kacey’s counting down to the February 10 Grammys, where she’s up for four trophies. Entertainment Weekly predicts she’ll take home both the all-genre Album of the Year and Best Country Album for Golden Hour.
