Jake Owen goes down to the racetrack for the Daytona 500

ABC/Randy HolmesJake Owen may be going “Down to the Honkytonk” in his latest hit song, but he’s headed down to the racetrack in real life.

The “I Was Jack (You Were Diane)” hitmaker will play the Pre-Race Show before this year’s 61st running of the Daytona 500. The Sunday, February 17 event is considered to be the most prestigious race on the NASCAR circuit.

Jake grew up in Vero Beach, Florida, which is just a couple hours south of Daytona Beach.
