Cage the Elephant shares snippet of new song

In an Instagram Story, the "Mess Around" rockers posted a video of a car radio playing the first 11 seconds of a new song, seemingly titled "Ready to Let Go." While the clip only features instrumentals, the track seems to have a bluesy, garage-rock feel.

In November, Cage revealed that the new album is "done," "mixed" and "mastered." On New Year's Day, the band teased that a new song would arrive sometime in January.

The new album will be Cage's fifth studio effort, following 2015's Tell Me I'm Pretty. The band's most recent release is 2017's Unpeeled, a live album recorded during their Live & Unpeeled acoustic tour earlier that year.
