"Dance Monkey" singer Tones and I leads nominees for Australia's 2019 ARIA Awards

Bad Batch RecordsTones and I, known for her breakthrough single "Dance Monkey," is the leading nominee for the 2019 ARIA Awards, Australia's equivalent of the Grammys.

The Australia native has received eight nominations, including Best Female Artist and Best Breakthrough Artist, as well as Song of the Year and Best Video for "Dance Monkey."

"Dance Monkey" is a smash in Australia, having led the ARIA Singles Chart for 10 straight weeks, a record for an Australian artist. The track is also currently the number-one single in the U.K.

In the U.S., "Dance Monkey" sits in the top 25 on Billboard's Alternative Songs chart.
