"No Frauds": Nicki Minaj cancels her BET Experience performance following the network's shady comment

John Shearer/Getty Images via ABCNicki Minaj is pulling the plug on her upcoming BET Experience performance, following a now-deleted tweet in which the network poked fun at her.

In the BET tweet, captured online, the network shared a link to its write-up of Cardi B's historic Grammy win. In the post, they added a snarky caption which read, "Meanwhile, Nicki Minaj is being dragged by her lacefront."

On Monday, Minaj responded with an important message of her own.

"Young Money will no longer be apart of the BET Experience or award show," Minaj tweeted. "Summer Tour dates dropping soon."

Minaj was set to headline the concert series, which takes place June 20-22, prior to the BET Awards on June 23. Cardi B is scheduled to perform at the June 22 concert.

As previously noted, after BET's tweet, fans were quick to call out the network for being disrespectful. And Minaj seemingly agreed, retweeting fans' reaction to BET's indiscretion.

"'The most disrespected person in America is the black woman.' Whew chile, Malcolm X never lied," she quoted from one of her fans.

After telling one fan to get a refund on their tickets for her performance, Minaj tagged the network, writing "Meanwhile, BET is being dragged by their lace front."

No word on if BET will be able to make amends with the rapper.
