Report: Fabolous is nearing a plea deal in domestic violence case

Jerritt Clark/Getty ImagesFabolous's domestic violence saga has reportedly come to a close, Bossip reports.

According to the celebrity site, the Brooklyn-born rapper is nearing a plea deal which will require him admitting to assaulting his longtime partner Emily B in exchange for no jail time.

Fab, however, will have to attend a mandatory "pre-trial intervention" consisting of a series of domestic violence prevention workshops that will last between six months and a few years. If the "Uptown" lyricist manages to stay out of trouble, then he'll have the charges expunged from his criminal record.

As previously reported, the rapper was accused of punching out Emily's teeth during an heated exchange late last year. According to his indictment, Fabolous later threatened to shoot Emily, the mother of his two children, and also brandished a pair of scissors, again threatening to harm her.

Fab, however, has maintained his innocence since pleading not guilty in October 2018.
