According to Barbados Today, Fenty appeared in court late last week two answer two assault charges stemming from an incident last month.

The 29-year-old is alleged to have assaulted a woman, Lee-Ann Lingo, while partying abroad a charter boat on January 20. In addition, he's also accused of causing "bodily harm" to a man named Andrew Thompson

Fenty has pleaded not guilty to the charges and was granted a $1,000 bail. He's due back in court June 6.

While Rihanna has yet to comment on the matter, the ANTI singer recently took her father, Ronald Fenty, to court regarding alleged copyright violations. The singer's suit claims her father developed a talent agency that falsely claimed they represented her.
