Sue KwonH.E.R., 21 SavageLil Baby and more have been recruited for the annual Roots Picnic.

Now in its 12th year, the music festival is scheduled for June 1 in Philadelphia, PA, expanding to a larger location at the Mann Center at Fairmount Park. The new festival grounds will include three stages of music, gaming, art and dialogue.

Additional performers include Ari LennoxCity GirlsBlueface, Davido, Tank & The Bangas and many more.

The Roots are also expected to raise the bar as the festival's headliner: They plan on celebrating the 20th anniversary of their seminal 1999 album Things Fall Apart.

A bevy of one-of-a-kind moments are also scheduled to take place. Black Thought will lead a “Live Mixtape” featuring Yasiin Bey.  Festivalgoers will also enjoy a first-of-its-kind Jam Session curated byRaphael Saadiq and Questlove, titled “Soulquarian vs Raphael Saadiq”.

“The vision 12 years ago was always to provide an all-day musical and cultural experience in Fairmount Park,” Shawn Gee, the Roots' manager and President of Live Nation Urban, said in a statement.

He continued, "Black Thought, Questlove and I grew up spending our Sunday afternoons at the Belmont Plateau in Fairmount Park watching Philly DJs spin, and enjoying the vibe and the culture. It’s a great feeling to be able to come full circle and bring the Picnic to Fairmount Park. I think it’s a big WIN for the city.”

Tickets go on sale on Friday, with pre-sale tickets available beginning on Tuesday.
