Carrie, on! "Love Wins" hitmaker to continue Opry tradition during CMA Fest this year

ABC/Mark LevineIt’s become a Grand Ole Opry tradition for Carrie Underwood to headline a couple of big shows on the Tuesday before CMA Fest, and it’s one she’ll continue in 2019.

Carrie will play the Opry at 7 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. CT on June 4, with Chris Janson and Travis Tritt on the bill as well. Look for more big names to join the roster as the date approaches.

The crowd will have a chance to warm up prior to the performance with a free Opry Plaza Party earlier in the day.

In addition to the two Tuesday shows, the Opry will also greet fans from across the globe on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday of that week. Tickets are on sale now at

This year’s CMA Fest takes place from Thursday, June 6 through Sunday, June 9.
