New The 1975 album "coming soon," says Matty Healy

Credit: Magdalena WosinskaFresh off The 1975's performance at Coachella over the weekend, frontman Matty Healy has declared that new music is forthcoming.

"New The 1975 album coming soon," Healy tweeted Sunday.

That album is, of course, the previously announced Notes on a Conditional Form, the lightning-quick follow-up to The 1975's latest effort, last November's A Brief Inquiry into Online Relationships.

Healy previously said that the first single from Notes would arrive on May 31, so the band appears to be right on track.

Healy also tweeted an image that looks like a possible album cover, featuring the title Notes on a Conditional Form printed over and over.

The 1975's Coachella set was the first date on their current U.S. tour, which continues Monday in Phoenix.
