Kehlani and 6lack draw inspiration from The OA for new "RPG" music video

ABC/Image Group LAKehlani has dropped off yet another new visual from her While We Wait EP. This time around, however, the Oakland songtress has tapped 6LACK to bring life to their dialed-down duet "RPG."

In the accompanying clip, the new mom draws inspiration from the hit Netflix series The OA. Throughout the video, Kehlani appears to be trapped in a glass cube filled with plants, as she works through relationship woes with 6LACK.

In The OA, the main character, Prairie, is kidnapped and held prisoner in a basement, along with a number of other people, and they're all kept in glass cages.

Kehlani, who gave birth to her first child, Adeya Nomi, last month, revealed that she was nearly nine months pregnant at the time of the video shoot, but "hid it so well."

The cinematic visual for "RPG" follows a strings of video releases from Kehlani, including "Butterfly," "Nunya" and "Nights Like This."

The singer's While We Wait mixtape is intended to hold fans over until her next album arrives.  That project will be the follow up to 2017's SweetSexySavage.
