Tyrese Gibson calls out his fellow entertainers for not speaking out about social issues

ABC/Jeff Neira Tyrese Gibson has an important message for his celebrity peers: Don't be complacent.

In a now-deleted Instagram post captured by The Shade Room, titled "Message to My Fellow Entertainers," Gibson shared his thoughts on entertainers who only use their platforms to promote themselves and their projects.

He wrote, "In 2019, in the midst of racism, police brutality, abortion, women rights, equal pay, economical instability and a xenophobic world that we're living in, if all you are doing is using your platforms to promote your movies, shows & music... f*** you too."

Gibson then captioned his post, "That's it and that's all.... Say YES repost if you agree!!!!!"

As passionate as Gibson seemed to be with his message and plea to his fellow entertainers, the Fast and Furious actor quickly took down his message in a few hours with no explanation given.
