Lil Kim blasts Andy Cohen for being "messy," after allegedly pulling out of 'Watch What Happens Live' appearance

Paras Griffin/Getty ImagesLil Kim is setting the record straight.

Wednesday, the veteran rapper took to Instagram to air her grievances with several media outlets, and to explain why she wouldn't be appearing on Bravo's Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen. According to the Queen Bee, it all boils down to the talk show host wanting "to be messy."

In a since-deleted live streamed rant, Kim claimed that her management team cancelled a handful of interviews with "major outlets" -- including a sit down on WWHL -- and implied that they were interested in asking her questions about off-limits subjects.

“I had a cool relationship with [Andy], I thought,” the rapper says in the clip. “My publicist and my manager made the executive decision to shut it down.”

She continued, "At this point, it’s about me. I’m that b****, nothing else. I refuse to f****** keep doing all these interviews, publications, and all of that s*** if motherf****** are not going to respect who I am, what I’ve done, where I’m at now.”

Kim further alluded that said platforms were using her "iconic status" for shocking headlines or soundbites.

"It be big s*** going down when I decline something or I say I’m not doing something," she added.

Cohen, however, claims he would welcome the rapper with open arms, telling People,  “I love Lil Kim and can’t wait for her to return to the Clubhouse."

It's not known whether Kim's cancellation of appearances means her forthcoming album, 9, is on hold, but in the meantime, the pioneering lyricist has been tapped to lead VH1's newest series Girls Cruise. The reality show, also set to star Mya and TLC's Chili, will chronicle the trio's adventures on the high seas.
