Bookomania: Phoenix oral history due out in October

ABC/Randy HolmesPhoenix will release a new book titled Liberté, Égalité, Phoenix! on October 15.

Written by the four band members in collaboration with The Guardian's deputy music editor Laura Snapes, the book is an oral history of the French group's journey to becoming an indie institution.

"This book is an intimate celebration of a group whose particular brand of indie rock has struck a chord on both sides of the Atlantic," reads its description.

"Liberté, Égalité, Fraternité" is the national motto of France. As you can guess, it means "liberty, equality, fraternity."

Phoenix's most recent album is 2017's Ti Amo.
