Mac Miller's seminal 'K.I.D.S.' mixtape to be made available on all streaming services

Rich Fury/Getty ImagesThe life and legacy of Mac Miller continues to be celebrated.  The rapper's seminal mixtape, K.I.D.S., is set to be made available on all streaming services later this year for the first time.

Tuesday, which marked the ninth anniversary of the project's release, Rostrum Records founder Benjy Grinberg shared the news with fans.

“On this 9th anniversary of the first tape that Mac and Rostrum put out together, I’m excited to announce that K.I.D.S. will be available on all streaming services later this year,” Grinberg wrote in a lengthy Instagram post.

Grinberg went on to explain that, following the streaming release of 2012's Macadelic, Miller requested that the label clear K.I.D.S. to be next.

"It has been challenging but we are getting through it, Grinberg added. "We miss Mac every day and we see our job as making sure his music lives on. We love you, Mac."

Initially released in 2010, via Rostrum Records, the effort was inspired by the controversial 1995 film of the same name and boosted Miller's career thanks to its witty frat-rap. The project includes fan favorites like "Nikes On My Feet," "Kool Aid & Frozen Pizza" and "Traffic In the Sky."
