The Rolling Stones Reveal US Tour Dates

Image credit: Brian RasicAfter teasing the announcement with daily messages since last Friday, The Rolling Stones this morning confirmed what most people had assumed: they're hitting the road one more time.

In a 44-second video posted on their YouTube channel at 9:00 a.m. ET sharp, Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Ronnie Wood and Charlie Watts are shown engaging in a video conference, with each saying hello in turn.  Wood is shown turning away from a canvas he's painting, which bears the names of five cities: Los Angeles, Chicago, Toronto, Boston and Philadelphia.

"Well, it's about time, gents," Wood says.  "I've been waiting for this call."

The clip then cuts to concert footage of the band performing "Start Me Up," before displaying the "50 & Counting" Rolling Stones Live logo above the Twitter hashtag #StartMeUpWednesday.  Jagger's voice wraps things up with the tease, "See you at rehearsal."  A second, longer video also has been posted on the group's YouTube channel, featuring the band members discussing the new tour with excitement and anticipation.

A statement released shortly after the videos debuted confirms that the tour will begin at the L.A. STAPLES Center, and will also includes dates in Las Vegas, and in Oakland, San Jose and Anaheim, California. Though there's no date yet for the L.A. show, the rest of the North American tour runs through May and early June.  In addition, The Stones have scheduled a July 6 concert in London's Hyde Park.  Original guitarist Mick Taylor will make appearances during the trek, as he did during The Stones' recent limited road trip.

Tickets for Oakland, San Jose, Toronto and Chicago go on sale beginning Monday, April 8 at 10:00 a.m. local time at RollingStones.com.  Citi cardmembers will be able to snag presale tickets beginning Friday.

The Rolling Stones also confirmed last week that they're playing a headlining set this June at the U.K.'s Glastonbury Festival.

The Band Perry's Hometown Show Was a Big Success; "Pioneer" Is Now in Their Fans' Hands

Republic NashvilleThe Band Perry's Pioneer album premiere show in Greeneville, TN last weekend was a big success with an estimated crowd of about 25,000 people. Some of those folks traveled from Iowa, Texas and even Canada.

Lead singer Kimberly Perry tells ABC News Radio, "It was a really precious thing to see our whole town come together to pull this event together. And really it was the spirit behind Pioneer -- lots of people coming together to do good things."

Now that Pioneer is in stores and online, Kimberly looks forward to seeing which songs their fans like the best.

"It's really a neat thing to see what the fans are going to make their own soundtrack," Kimberly says. "So, I can't wait to see that this week.

Though Pioneer is now in the hands of the fans, Kimberly admits she and her brothers Neil and Reid Perry would still be making changes to the album if they could. She doesn’t have any regrets about the choices they made in the 18 months writing and recording Pioneer.

Kimberly says, "We did have the opportunity to try out all of our ideas. We wrote some wild songs that ultimately weren't in the final 12. But we got to just really break our own boundaries, which was exciting."

Look for The Band Perry to perform on Sunday night's 48th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards on CBS at 8 p.m. Eastern. They're up for vocal group of the year honors.

Adele Goes Pop....Art?

Steve Granitz/WireImageFollowing a claim that Adele has spent thousands of dollars outfitting her new house with vintage arcade machines, there's now a report that she's spending her fortune on the finer things in life as well.

The British tabloid The Sun reports that Adele and her boyfriend Simon have just spent "tens of thousands of pounds" buying two butterfly prints by late, legendary pop artist Andy Warhol for their new digs on England's south coast.  "Adele and her partner had the pair of prints delivered to their house in the past month," claims a source. "They’re Warhol fans and the butterfly works are a good investment as well."

The source also claims that Adele and Simon are "hoping to get more contemporary art for the walls to add to their collection," and are eyeing works by famed British artists Damien Hirst and Banksy.

Adele and Simon had planned a beach-themed housewarming party over Easter weekend, claims The Sun, but had to call it off due to frigid temperatures in the U.K.

Little Big Town Predicts Racy, Good Time with Blake Shelton and Luke Bryan Hosting ACM Awards

Capitol NashvilleLittle Big Town has four ACM Awards nominations going into Sunday night's show including album of the year for Tornado. While they have their fingers crossed about taking home a trophy or four, Little Big Town's Kimberly Schlapman tells ABC News Radio they're just as excited to see Luke Bryan make his debut as Blake Shelton's new co-host on the show. Luke replaces Blake's longtime co-host, Reba, who is often credited with reining in Blake's racy sense of humor. Kimberly's not sure if Luke is up for that task.

"They're gonna have to put, like a 15-second delay on the show," she says. "How in the world will they keep them in check? And it'll be hilarious. It'll be so entertaining and so much fun."

Since Luke and Blake's brand of humor may have the network censors up in arms, Kimberly adds with a laugh, "Reba will be back next year."

Look for Little Big Town to perform on The 48th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards Sunday night at 8 Eastern on CBS.

Brian Wilson Schedules More Shows with Beach Boys Band Mates Al Jardine & David Marks

Facebook.com/OfficialBrianWilsonBeach Boys mastermind Brian Wilson has begun lining up more shows with his old band mates Al Jardine and David Marks.  After initially announcing one concert with special guests Jardine and Marks -- a July 25 gig at the Fraze Pavilion in Kettering, Ohio -- the singer/songwriter has now scheduled a total of six dates with them.

Six of the concerts take place in July -- stretching from a July 20 performance in Atlantic City, New Jersey, through a July 27 stop in Apple Valley, Minnesota.  An additional concert is slated to take place October 20 in The Beach Boys' home base of Los Angeles.

Wilson, Jardine and Marks, of course, were three of the five principal Beach Boys members who took part in the band's 50th anniversary reunion tour last year, as well as as in the recording of their 2012 studio album, That's Why God Made the Radio.  The trek ended last September when band mates Mike Love and Bruce Johnston opted not to extend the reunion outing,  instead going back on tour with their pre-50th anniversary Beach Boys lineup, which does not include Wilson, Jardine or Marks.

Here are all of Wilson's confirmed upcoming concerts, according to BrianWilson.com:

7/20 -- Atlantic City, NJ, The Grand @ The Golden Nugget
7/21 -- Pittsburgh, PA, Stage AE – Outdoor Stage

Justin Bieber: "I'm Very Much in Control"

Courtesy Teen VogueIf you think all the drama surrounding Justin Bieber lately means the singer is heading for a meltdown -- or rehab -- you'd be wrong.  In the new issue of Teen Vogue, Justin insists, "I know who I am, and I'm very much in control."

In other words, the way Justin is depicted in the media and the reality are very far apart.  "I see so much stuff on the Internet, sometimes I just want to go to Twitter and just go after people," the singer tells Teen Vogue, which is featuring him on not one but two covers for May.  "But then I just think twice: If someone is dissing me, I'm going to make this person way more famous by tweeting them."

"There's so much nonsense that gets out there that's not true," Justin continues.  "I would rather spend time really interacting with my fans.  You just have to keep your head high and be positive."

Justin also says that contrary to popular belief, he's not the center of a non-stop party, rolling with a crew of hangers-on, friends and celebrities.  Sadly, that's because he's just too afraid he'll get burned.

"I get good vibes from people all the time, and I probably could get along with them and be their friend, but now I just don't trust anybody," he tells Teen Vogue.  "Literally, my phone never rings.  I only have, like, four people that I keep in contact with.  I don't need a bunch of friends to make me happy.  I just need the people close to me that I love, that's all."

Among them: his parents, his three close friends from back home, and Lil Twist, who he calls his "best friend."

At this point, though, Justin probably could walk away from show business.  He certainly has enough money.  So why keep dealing with the constant pressure, invasion of privacy and living life under a microscope?  Because he thinks he's part of something bigger than himself.

"I think that's part of the reason I'm here.  Not just because I'm talented, but because God had a purpose for me to just help people," Justin reveals.  And the other reason he keeps going?  Because he's never satisfied.

"When people get to where they want, they're like, 'I'm here, I got it,'" he tells Teen Vogue.  "When I get to the top, I just want to get better."

Justin's issue of Teen Vogue hits newsstands April 16.

Mad Season’s Barrett Martin Talks Collaborations with Mark Lanegan, R.E.M.'s Peter Buck for Unfinished Second Album

Facebook.com/MadSeasonOn Tuesday, fans of Mad Season -- the all-star collaboration that included late Alice in Chains frontman Layne Staley and Pearl Jam guitarist Mike McCready -- got their hands on a deluxe edition of the band’s only studio album, Above.  The collection includes three previously unreleased tracks from the band's unfinished second album, with new lyrics and vocals by former Screaming Trees singer Mark Lanegan.

Drummer Barrett Martin says that Lanegan was the obvious choice to create the new tracks for the deluxe edition because of his history of writing and recording with the band.  “We had recorded about 20 instrumental tracks for Layne and Mark to write lyrics to, but they just never did it,” he tells ABC News Radio.  “And then [bassist John] Baker [Saunders] passed away and then Layne passed away.  So when we were revisiting those unfinished tracks, it just seemed natural to give them to Mark.”

Martin adds that one of the new tracks, “Black Book of Fear,” features contributions from a very special guest. “Even though that second album never got completed, there was still a lot of magic in the music,” he explains. “Peter Buck, the guitar player from R.E.M., he loved the band too and so when we went in to do that second record, he asked if he could play some guitar with us and so he actually co-wrote the song ‘Black Book of Fear,’ which Mark Lanegan also sang on.”

In addition to the new songs, the package includes a copy of the band’s only live DVD, Live at the Moore, and a video of the band's performance from New Years Eve 1995 at the now-defunct Seattle club, RKCNDY.

OneRepublic Donates $100K to Build New School in Newtown, CT

Facebook.com/OneRepublicOneRepublic has announced that they've managed to collect $100,000 to help build a new school in Newtown, Connecticut, the site of the Sandy Hook Elementary School massacre in December.

Soon after the shooting, which left 26 dead, OneRepublic posted a posted a video on the website IndieGoGo.com asking people to donate money to their newly-established charity fund to help the victims' families.  The band members donated $20,000 out of their own pockets to get the ball rolling, and in just a few minutes, they had another $15,000 in pledges.  Their initial goal was $50,000, but in a few days, the total had soared to over $65,000.

On Monday, the band tweeted, "THNKS 2 ALL who donated $$ to our Sandy Hook Elementary Victims Fund-doubled the goal of 50k-sent $100k last week 2 help build a new school!"

They added, "We can't imagine what the families of Newton, CT have gone thru in the last 3 + months- still haven't forgotten- hope 2 visit the new school."

The Sandy Hook shootings affected OneRepublic deeply because their own community in Colorado was rocked last summer by the Aurora movie theater massacre.

"The Voice" Recap: Houston Teen Shines in Latest Blind Auditions

NBCThe blind auditions continued on The Voice Tuesday night, with coaches Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, Shakira and Usher each adding two contestants to their respective teams.

Shakira now has nine artists on her squad. Adam and Usher have eight, and Blake has seven.

Here's a rundown of Tuesday night's auditions:

The personable Audrey Karrasch, 20, sang the Jessie J hit "Price Tag." Usher and Blake both turned around their chairs for her. Audrey asked Usher specifically what he liked about her performance. After he said he could identify with it, Audrey blurted out, "OK, let's do it," leaving a rejected Blake stunned.

Long-haired Brandon Roush belted out the Joe Cocker version of The Beatles song "With a Little Help from My Friends." Adam joked that the 19-year-old Kentucky native looked like he belonged in the heavy metal band Megadeth. Brandon joined Team Shakira.

Betsy Barta, who performs on the streets of Minneapolis, tried her best with Adele's "Set Fire to the Rain." None of the judges pressed their buttons. Afterward, Blake suggested that the song choice was overambitious. A teary-eyed Betsy was consoled with a hug from Adam.

Sporting dreadlocks, Patrick Dodd of Memphis paid homage to his city with Marc Cohn's "Walking in Memphis." Shakira and Adam both turned around, saying the 35-year-old brought soul to the stage. Patrick went with Adam.

Wedding singer Orlando Dixon tackled Ne-Yo's "So Sick." Usher was the only coach to support him. Clearly elated, Orlando called Usher his idol and said he wanted to buy his mother a new home one day.

Savannah Berry, a 17-year-old from Houston, once duetted with Sugarland for an Academy of Country Music Awards promotional segment. She sang Taylor Swift and The Civil Wars' single "Safe & Sound," from The Hunger Games soundtrack. All of the coaches except for Usher pressed their buttons. After Savannah cited Miranda Lambert as one of her inspirations, Blake repeatedly reminded her that he's married to Miranda. His powers of persuasion worked: Savannah picked Blake.

The final week of blind auditions begins next Monday on NBC.
