Cleveland Indians Fan Catches Four Foul Balls

iStockphoto/Thinkstock(NEW YORK) -- Ever catch a foul ball at a Major League Baseball game? Most of us haven’t, but that didn't stop Greg Van Niel from enjoying an embarrassment of riches.

Van Niel, a season ticket holder at Cleveland Indians games, managed to do something Sunday that no fan has ever done before, or at least, no one can remember if a fan has. He snagged four foul balls.

In case you’re wondering, the odds of that happening at one game are a mere one-trillion-to-one.

Three of the balls Van Niel managed to catch on a fly while the last ball he picked off the ground.

Before Sunday’s game, which the Indians won against the Kansas City Royals, 6-4, Van Niel had never caught a foul ball. And if that’s isn’t enough to make you envious, he wasn’t even sitting in his usual seat when he accomplished his feat.
