Drunk Falls onto Cop Car, Lands in Jail

Photodisc/Digital Vision/Thinkstock(CARMEL, Ind.) -- An Indiana man ran afoul of cops Saturday night when he literally walked into a squad car.

WRTV reports 21-year-old George W. Hemp was walking along the street on which police officers were administering a traffic stop when Hemp failed to see the squad car -- or its flashing lights -- and stumbled right into it.

Hemp allegedly failed a field sobriety test, and blew a .14 on a breathalyzer, nearly twice the legal limit.

Because Hemp was unable to even recite the alphabet because of his condition, officers reportedly took him to a local hospital for evaluation before he was arrested on a preliminary charge of public intoxication and booked into jail.
