A 53-year-old Montana man named Walter White -- who shares a name and, apparently, M.O. of the lead character of AMC's hit series Breaking Bad -- was sentenced on Monday to nine years in federal prison for, “possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine.”

The judge added three years to his sentence for a firearms conviction, making his term a total of 12 years behind bars.

Senior U.S. District Judge Don Molloy said White was responsible for 32 pounds of meth, calling that quantity “extraordinary,” reports the Billings Gazette.

“Thirty two-and-a-half pounds of methamphetamine coupled with guns and violence is about as serious as you can get,” Molloy added. Before the sentencing, White pleaded guilty to possession of the meth and two firearms and received a plea deal.  He was arrested in March.
