(SAN DIEGO) -- Another man in the San Diego area has been charged with providing support to terrorist group Al-Shabaab. This is the fifth case out of the area relating to Al-Shabaab.
The defendant in this case, 35-year-old Ahmed Nasir Taalil Mohamud, knows three men who were charged last month with trying to provide funds and support to Al-Shabaab.
Mohamud appeared Friday in court where U.S. Magistrate Judge Jan M. Adler arraigned him and ordered that he be held without bail pending a detention hearing Dec. 7.
Several weeks ago a woman was also arrested in the San Diego area for trying to provide funds to the terror group.
