(CLEVELAND) -- Anthony Sowell was convicted Friday of killing 11 women in Cleveland.
Sowell was charged guilty in the murders, which took place in 2009 and have disquieted the city of Cleveland ever since. Investigators found that Sowell and his victims were involved in drugs, and the crimes may have been provoked by persistent use of crack cocaine.
The jury debated his conviction for 15 hours.
The 51-year-old faces a possible death sentence for the incidents.
