(OVERLAND PARK, Kan.) -- Three people are reportedly dead and at least one other is in critical condition in a pair of shootings at a Jewish community center and second location in Overland Park, Kansas.
Police confirmed the three deaths, saying that two of the victims were shot at the community center and one at the second location, which they did not immediately identify.
Rabbi Arthur Nemitoff, senior Rabbit at The Temple Congregation B'nai Jehudah, located about a mile from the Jewish Community Center told ABC News that police arrived after the shooting around 1:45 p.m. and have stationed a police car there as a precautionary measure.
Nemitoff said police also told him about the shooting at the second location, which is about a half-mile from the temple.
In a statement, the community center said that the shooting occurred in the parking lot and that all activities for Monday were cancelled.
