(GRAND MARAIS, Minn.) -- A shooting at the Cook County courthouse in Grand Marais, Minn. Thursday injured three people, and police say one suspect is in custody.
Doug Neville of the Minnesota Department of Public Safety did not immediately provide details about the shooting victims or their condition, but says one victim was released after being treated at the Cook County North Shore Hospital in Grand Marais. The other two victims were transported to Essentia Health Hospital in Duluth, Minn. where they remain hospitalized.
With one suspect in custody, Cook County Sheriff Mark Falk says authorities are not looking for any other suspects as there appears to be no further threat to public safety.
It is unclear what may have led to the shooting, but Neville says an investigation is underway.
