Tropical Storm Don Disappoints Parched Texas

Hemera Technologies/ CHRISTI, Texas) -- Drought-ridden South Texas was hoping for a lot more from tropical storm Don.

Don evaporated as it hit landfall, dropping less than an inch of rain. Texas is currently suffering from an extreme drought, and officials had hoped the storm would bring a much-needed thirst quenching.

The storm hit off of Brownsville, Texas, and what remains of it is headed into Mexico.
