(SOUTH GLENS FALLS, N.Y.) -- Two young boys are in the hospital after a bounce house accident in South Glens Falls, N.Y., Monday afternoon.
According to the South Glens Falls Police, the two boys had been playing in an inflated bounce house when the house was lifted up by wind, throwing the boys out.
One boy, a six-year-old, landed in the street, while the other boy, a five-year-old, fell in a parking lot.
Both children were taken to the hospital.
The incident remains under investigation.
The Consumer Product Safety Commission estimates the number of injured because of inflatable playhouses to be in the thousands each year.
Little Tikes, the manufacturer of the playhouse, said it was looking into the accident.
"Providing safe and wholesome outdoor play experiences is of utmost important to Little Tikes," a statement read. "Our thoughts and prayers are with the children and their families."
