What Killed 200 Cows in Wisconsin?

Stock photo. Photo Courtesy - Getty Images(TOWN OF STOCKTON, Wis.) -- Hundreds of cows are dead in Portage County, Wisc., after officials say the animals contracted a virus.

County authorities said veterinarians involved in the investigation believe that the nearly 200 dead cows contracted infectious bovine rhinotracheitis/bovine viral diarrhea.

Officials said the situation poses no risk to humans.
