Missing Providence Boy Found at Friend's House

(PROVIDENCE, R.I.) -- Providence police confirmed Wednesday morning that 12-year-old Leandro Gomes was found safe, just a day after being reported missing.

Gomes had been seen last at the Providence Place Mall Tuesday afternoon, according to WLNE-TV, ABC's New Bedford affiliate. He was located at a friend's house around 2 a.m. Wednesday, and promptly reunited with his family.
