Rhode Island Lawmaker Faces Gun Charge

(PROVIDENCE, R.I.) -- Rep. Peter Petrarca is facing a gun charge following an incident at Club Karma on Saturday night.

Authorities say Petrarca, a state representative from Lincoln, is accused of firing a weapon outside of Club Karma. After police heard a gunshot in the area of the club, and when officers responded, Petrarca admitted he was the one who fired the shot.

No one was hurt in the incident.
