Teen Shot in the Face in Providence

(PROVIDENCE, R.I.) -- Police are investigating a shooting in Providence over the weekend in which a 17-year-old boy was injured.

Police said the teenager was at a home on Linwood Avenue on Saturday night, when he was shot in the face. The victim was transported to an area hospital where he remains warded in unknown condition.

Investigators did not immediately release details on what led to the shooting.
