Three People Shot Dead in Providence Apartment

(PROVIDENCE, R.I.) -- Police continue to search for clues following a triple murder in Providence on Monday night.

Police were called to the Maplewood Terrace Apartments on General Street on a report of a shooting, and inside an apartment officerssay they found three people shot to death.

The victims have been identified as Shemeeka Barros, 22, Michael Martin, 23, and Damien Colon, 22.

Three children were in the apartment at the time of the shooting, but were unharmed, according to police.

There were no immediate arrests.
