Warwick Crash Leaves One Dead

(WARWICK, R.I.) -- One person is dead following an early-morning vehicular crash in Warwick.

The crash reportedly happened in the vicinity of Old Forge and Post roads. Authorities said a vehicle driven by a man somehow managed to run off the roadway and slammed into a utility pole. The driver was taken to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The crash remains under investigation.
