Woonsocket Family Attacked by Pit Bull

(WOONSOCKET, R.I.) -- Three members of a Woonsocket family were injured Monday afternoon after they came under attack from their own dog.
According to published reports, a pit bull named "Biz," which the family recently got, began fighting with another dog belonging to the family, and when family members tried to intervene they were bitten by the pit bull.
The incident took place at a home located on Sayles Street. The injured family members were treated at a local hospital.
Police officers had to use a Taser device to get the dog under control, reports stated.
