Crews Search Connecticut River for Missing Swimmer

(CHESTER, Conn.) -- The search continues Monday for a swimmer who went missing in the Connecticut River on Sunday afternoon.

Authorities said a 36-year-old man was swimming with his brother near the Chester Point Marina when the man disappeared under water.

Emergency crews were called in to help locate the man. However, severe weather conditions on Sunday forced the search effort to be suspended. The effort will be resumed Monday.
