Lake Mohegan Drowning Victim Identified

(FAIRFIELD, Conn.) -- Authorities have released the name of the 10-year-old girl who drowned at Lake Mohegan in Fairfield on Tuesday.

The girl has been identified as Catherine Trujillo.

She was reportedly swimming in the lake with at least one family member on Tuesday evening, when she began experiencing difficulty, went under water and didn't come up.

The girl reportedly remained under water for approximately 30 minutes before she was eventually pulled from the water by a dive team.
