McMahon Will Face Murphy for Senate Seat

(NEW LONDON, Conn.) -- Connecticut voters have selected wrestling mogul Linda McMahon as the Republican candidate to face off against Democratic Congressman Chris Murphy on Election Day, according to The Day.

Murphy beat Secretary of State Susan Bysiewicz with 93,506 votes versus 45,098 votes. On the other hand, McMahon destroyed her opponent, former U.S. Congressman Chris Shays with 83,684 votes to 31,407 votes.
