Report: Police Warn Milford Residents of Suspicious Man

(MILFORD, Conn.) -- Milford police are warning residents about a suspicious man who tried to enter a home on Robert Treat Parkway, according to ABC affiliate WTNH-TV.

A Milford man called police on Tuesday after a man claiming to be from a water company tried to enter his house.  The resident refused and locked the door, and the man then went to the back of the house before leaving the property.

The suspicious man is described as about 30 years old, standing 5'10" with an average build, according to the report.  He was seen driving a white van.  The local water company confirmed to police there was no scheduled visit to the home on Robert Treat Parkway.
