Roof Collapses Raise Fears in Naugatuck

(NAUGATUCK , Conn.) -- Several roof collapses statewide due to mounds of snow have led to evacuations in Naugatuck.

The latest roof collapse occurred at the Thurston Energy facilities on Rubber Avenue. Naugatuck High School classes were called off midday due to ominous fissures on walls. Crews have been called in to determine the risk of collapse.

A Naugatuck Walmart has also been evacuated for fear of structural failure.
