Mother Suspected of Strangling Toddler to Death

(NEW YORK) -- A mother from Queens was arrested and accused of strangling her 2-year-old son, reports ABC affiliate WABC-TV.
Police discovered Izayah Hall unresponsive in his mother’s apartment, located in Kew Gardens, Queens on Friday.
Hall was taken to New York Hospital, but was pronounced dead. The medical examiner’s autopsy report says the toddler’s cause of death was strangulation.
The police have arrested Afriyie Gaspard and are charging her with murder and manslaughter.
