NY High School to Distribute Condoms for Prom Night

(BROOKLYN, N.Y.) -- A high school in New York City is making condoms available to students for prom night, according to a report in the New York Daily News.

Bedford-Stuyvesant Preparatory High School's prom is on June 7, and the principal of the school told the Daily News that the distribution of condoms is "necessary" and "the right thing to do."

Students at the school have had access to condoms for three years, but this is the first time the school has made condoms available for the prom.
