Jesse Jackson Jr. Probe: Alleged Misuse of Campaign Funds

US Congress(CHICAGO) -- Congressman Jesse Jackson Jr. is reportedly seeking a plea deal for allegedly misusing campaign funds.

Thursday morning's Chicago Sun-Times reports discussions are ongoing with federal officials.

Jackson easily won re-election Tuesday against a postal worker who ran a long-shot challenge. The son of famed civil rights leader Jesse Jackson, Sr. remains hospitalized at the Mayo Clinic for depression and bipolar disorder.
