More Time Allowed for Applicants

ABC News(WASHINGTON) -- The White House says anybody trying to sign up for health care coverage through an online exchange before the end of open enrollment will get extra time to complete their application.

The administration is clear that the deadline is not changing. Government officials say that if an applicant for health care coverage registers by the March 31 deadline, the application will continue to be processed even though the insurance policy is not confirmed until days later.
