(WASHINGTON) -- Former NBA stars Magic Johnson and Alonzo Mourning are featured in two new Obama administration TV ads aimed at signing up young adults for Obamacare before the end of open enrollment on March 31.
The ads will air nationally on ESPN, ABC, TNT and NBAtv during NBA games and in local markets that have high concentrations of the uninsured, a Health and Human Services official told ABC News.
The Johnson ad will launch on Thursday followed soon after by the Mourning ad. Both will air through the end of the open enrollment period.
The ads are part of a $52 million broadcast campaign for the first quarter of 2014. Also part of the blitz are the ads that will run on NBC stations in targeted markets during the Olympics, as ABC News has previously reported.
