(CASA GRANDE, Ariz.) -- An Arizona state representative was beaten, bound and left unconscious inside his own business Saturday, police said.
Frank Pratt, the elected Republican representative in District 23 of the Arizona House of Representatives, was found by his wife Christmas night after authorities say he went to check on something and was assaulted by an unknown man already inside the building.
Mike Keck of the Casa Grande Police Department said Pratt’s assailant took off with his vehicle, a gold 2007 GMC Yukon.
The representative was taken to a Phoenix hospital where he was listed as stable.
