Boy Killed After Being Struck By SUV In Sun Valley Driveway

(SUN VALLEY, Nev.) -- A 2-year-old boy died in Sun Valley Tuesday evening after he was run over by an SUV reportedly driven by his relative.
The Reno Gazette Journal reports that the boy, whose identity was withheld, was on a family’s dirt driveway in Sun Valley at the time of the incident. He was found about 10 yards behind the Ford Expedition, according to Washoe County officials. The name of the driver and relationship to the child was withheld.
The child was transported to Renown Regional Medical Center in Reno, where he was pronounced dead about 7:30 p.m.
The cause of the incident remains under investigation.
