Cops Believe Missing Nevada Family May Be in California

(SPARKS, Nev.) -- Authorities in Sparks, Nev. are searching for a woman and her two children who disappeared after supposedly meeting with the woman's new online boyfriend.

Sparks police said Vanessa Head, 24, and her children Michael Scanlon, 2, and 10-month-old Lilly Scanlon, were all last seen on July 7. The woman reportedly told family members that she was going to meet  her boyfriend in-person, whom she meet online; and the family of three was last seen getting into a light grey- or silver-colored passenger car, according to a report from Sparks police. The car was reportedly being driven by an unidentified Black male adult.

Investigators believe the group of four may be headed to Las Vegas, or the California cities of Sacramento or Vallejo.
