Early-Morning Reno Shooting Leaves One Injured

(RENO, Nev.) -- Reno police are investigating a shooting that took place early Wednesday morning and has left one person hospitalized.

The shooting was reported shortly before 2 a.m. in the vicinity of Matich and Sierra Madre drives, according to published reports. Police said while officers were responding to the call, they were flagged down, and came upon a woman suffering from a minor gunshot wound, reports stated.

The woman was taken to an area hospital for treatment.

No arrests were made.
