Man Arrested for Allegedly Threatening Neighbor with Knife

(RENO, Nev.) -- A 20-year-old man was arrested by Reno police on Thursday night for allegedly threatening his neighbor with a knife.

Police said the incident was reported just after 8:30 p.m., with officers being called to a residence on Sharlands Avenue. Officers arrested Tyler Markvicka, after an investigation reportedly determined that Markvicka went banging on a neighbor's door and when the victim confronted Markvicka, police said the suspect threatened the victim with a knife.

Markvicka is charged with assault with a dangerous weapon.
