Nevada's Unemployment Rate Holds Steady

(RENO, Nev.) -- Nevada's unemployment rate held steady at 11.6 percent in June, the state's Department of Employment, Training and Rehabilitation announced Friday.

According to a department report, Reno's unemployment rate increased to 11.7 percent from 11.5 percent in May.

The national unemployment rate, meanwhile, remained unchanged at 8.2 percent between May and June.
